Key duties and Responsibilities
Leading and specialising in one or more of the identified Enterprise Architecture domains.
Developing and maintaining reference architectures, high level designs, policies, principles, patterns, and guardrails for use by development and operations teams
Collaborating on and developing current and future state architectures, strategies, and roadmaps
Using professional judgement, experience, and risk analysis to provide timely and documented advice on complex digital architecture design to the Executive and technical teams
Analysing business needs, goals and drivers against current capabilities and existing systems to define the future state required to achieve business goals
Leadership and exemplary communication skills to foster a highly productive and business valued departmental architecture community, promoting collaboration, and sharing of skills and knowledge
Identifying duplications and commonality of requirement and function across departmental initiatives
Assisting the Chief Enterprise Architect to develop and mature the Enterprise Architecture practice.

Enterprise Architecture Expertise
Demonstrated experience developing and applying enterprise architecture thinking and practices to infrastructure, cloud, data, AI and applications, including development of technology roadmaps, target-state architectures, standards and architecture patterns. At least 5 years’ experience in one or more Enterprise Architecture domains:Technology

Architecture Governance and Assurance
Proven ability to conduct architecture reviews, assurance activities and governance processes, including assessment of technology risks, compliance, solution designs and investment proposals.
With experience in developing architectural artefacts for example:Current and future state diagrams, investment and transition roadmaps
Solution Architecture Designs (conceptual, high level and detailed)
Standards, policies principles, and guardrails
Reference architecture
Architecture advisories and strategies
Architecture advisories and strategies
Technical Advisory and Stakeholder Engagement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with all stakeholders including:Describe options and pros and cons of different approaches
Provide advice and assist delivery teams to understand the architecture guardrails and provide guidance on how patterns can be applied
Engaging business and technical teams to identify and solve issues and problems Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business and technology challenges, develop practical architecture outcomes, and support informed decision-making aligned with organisational strategy and priorities.
